An udu is a plosive aerophone (in this case implosive) and idiophone of the Igbo tribe of Nigeria. Actually a water jug with an additional hole, it was played by Igbo women for ceremonial uses. It produces a characteristic bass sound by hitting the big hole with a flat palm. Depending on how quickly you lift your hand after hitting it as well as on the position of your other hand on the upper hole, pitches can be changed. Additonally, the whole corpus can be played with your fingers.
This 133bpm soundtrack is the first Psychedelic Dance music we produced in 2020.
